Welcome to Notre Dame's Fremantle Campus

The Fremantle Campus is located in the historic West End of Fremantle, the main port city of Western Australia, 18 kilometres from Perth. It is a "town" university and the only one of its type in Australia. The beautiful buildings of both the Campus and the surrounding city of Fremantle lend a distinctive character to Notre Dame.

Imagine walking through streets and laneways laid out in the days of horse and carriage, only to emerge into the hustle and bustle of a vibrant and modern port city. Present and past merge into a rich mix of cultures and traditions that is typical of the older university towns of Europe. After taking a class in one of our restored heritage buildings, have a break with fellow students at one of the many restaurants or coffee shops, and watch the world go by.
